What is a Referendum?A referendum is a direct vote in which an entire community is asked to either accept or reject a particular proposal. On December 12, 2006, the residents of Monroe Township accepted two proposals that will allow for the construction of additional educational space needed due to residential growth and the corresponding increase in student enrollment.
