The Art Program here at Whitehall Elementary School is designed to enrich our students in many ways. I have created this program to encompass the following areas:

• Art History,

• Multiculturalism,

• Studio,

• Philosophy of Art,

• Interdisciplinary Learning

• Problem Solving Skills.

Our structured Art Education Curriculum demonstrates Discipline Based Art Education which emphasizes Interdisciplinary Learning.  Our students create a wide variety of projects using a large array of materials.  This keeps our students motivated and very creative while they have fun learning about the world of Art.

Please join us and see how creative our students are here at Whitehall Elementary School on the evening of May 27 at 6:oo.  We will be having our annual Art Show, which will include the art work of all students in grades 1-4.  This special event will also have an art History Scavenger Hunt where each participant can win a prize.   Plus, many hors d’oeuvres will be served by our Art Club students as you walk the halls and enjoy the 700 pieces of art on display.
