Current information for delayed openings and emergency early dismissals during the 2026–2027 school year.

2026–2027

Two-Hour Delayed Opening

When a delayed opening is announced, all district schools open two hours later than the regular schedule.

Elementary Schools 10:55 AM

Williamstown Middle School 10:10 AM

Williamstown High School 9:28 AM

Students should report to their bus stops two hours later than usual. The AM Kids Choice Program is canceled on delayed-opening days. Regular dismissal times remain unchanged.

How families are notified

Delayed-opening information is communicated through ParentSquare, the district's automated emergency communication system, the district website and social media, and local media.

2026–2027

Emergency Early Closing

Inclement weather or another emergency may require district schools to dismiss students before the regular dismissal time.

Families should establish an emergency plan in advance so children know what to do if they arrive home earlier than expected.

For Preschool and Kindergarten students, every effort will be made to contact a person listed on the student's Emergency Card when an emergency early closing occurs.
