WHS Flag Football closed out an unforgettable state championship season with a special night at Friday’s Philadelphia Eagles preseason game.
Before kickoff, our Braves took the field to help hold the large Eagles flag during player introductions and the national anthem. At the conclusion of the first quarter, the team was honored on the field and presented with its state championship rings.
This season’s success was made possible by an entire team of supporters. We thank our coaches, athletic director, and assistant athletic director for their leadership, along with the parents and families who supported our players throughout the season and proudly joined them for Friday’s celebration.
The night was a fitting conclusion to a season that gave our Braves community so much to celebrate. Congratulations to WHS Flag Football—we cannot wait to see what the team accomplishes next!
