Halloween has brought plenty of excitement to schools across Monroe Township, from pumpkin picking and fall activities to classroom celebrations. Today, it was time for one of our community's favorite traditions: the elementary school Halloween parades!

Students proudly made their way around school with their classmates, showing off costumes of all kinds. Woody and Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, superheroes, princesses and even Waldo made appearances!

Teachers joined in with costumes of their own, while families lined the sidewalks and fences, ready to wave, snap pictures and share a few hugs along the way.

For decades, these parades have been part of growing up in Monroe Township. There's something special about walking alongside your friends, showing off a costume you've been excited to wear and spotting familiar faces cheering you on. For some parents, it's a tradition they remember from their own school days. Now, they get to enjoy it all over again with their children.

Thank you to our teachers, staff and families for another wonderful day of Halloween fun and for keeping this longtime tradition going strong. Wishing all of our Monroe Township students, families and neighbors a happy and safe Halloween!
