May Observances

During the month of May, we proudly recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, Jewish American Heritage Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and National Military Appreciation Month.
Each observance offers an opportunity to celebrate the people, histories, experiences, and contributions that continue to shape our schools, communities, and country in meaningful ways.
As we take time this month to promote understanding, appreciation, and reflection, we also recognize the importance of creating a school community where every individual feels seen, valued, supported, and respected. From honoring cultural traditions and achievements, to recognizing the importance of mental wellness and the sacrifices made by military families and veterans, May serves as a reminder of the many experiences, stories, and people that help shape and strengthen Monroe Townships school community every day.
