2026-2027 Eligibility

Residents Only: Open to Monroe Township residents.

Age Requirement: Children must turn 3 or 4 on or before October 1, 2026. 

 

Preschool Application & Results

  • Application Status: The 2026–2027 Preschool Application Form is now closed.
  • Lottery Numbers: Sent on Friday, May 1st to the email address provided on your application.

The Lottery Process

  • Random Selection: Due to limited seats, a completely random lottery will select students.
  • Separate Drawings: Each school will hold two lotteries—one for 3-year-olds and one for 4-year-olds.
  • Date and Time: The lottery takes place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
  • Waiting List: Students not selected will be placed on a waiting list.

School Placement

  • Locations: Selected students will be placed at either their home school or an affiliated provider.
  • No Requests: Individual school requests cannot be accommodated due to limited space.

Social Play: Create opportunities at home for your child to play with other children.

Book Time: Take time together at home to read and explore books.

Home Talk: Talk with your child during daily routines at home.

Q&A Practice: Practice asking and answering everyday questions together.

Skill Games: Turn practicing basic self-help skills into fun home games.

Simple Practice: Guide your child in practicing putting on and taking off their jacket, etc.

Picnic Prep: Host a pretend picnic at home to practice unzipping lunchboxes.
