The WHS media center was filled with creativity, talent, and proud moments last night as students shared their work during the annual WHS Art Showcase!

From ceramics and graphic design to photography and studio art, students shared a wide range of work that reflected both talent and hard work throughout the year. The evening also featured a choir performance and recognition for students during the awards portion of the program, including the induction of the first class of the Art National Honor Society and the presentation of senior scholarships.

Thank you to our WHS art teachers for the care, encouragement, and inspiration they pour into their students every day, and to our students for sharing pieces of themselves through their work. The arts give our students a voice, and your creativity, originality, and individuality are what help keep Monroe vibrant, expressive, and full of life. It was such a joy to see those voices celebrated so beautifully last night!
