SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER VACANCY NOTICE

MONROE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBER

There is presently a vacancy on the Monroe Township Board of Education. Anyone interested may mail a letter of interest to Lisa Schulz, Board Secretary, Monroe Township Board of Education, 128 Saybrook Avenue, Williamstown, NJ 08094 or email to lschulz2@monroetwp.k12.nj.us no later than 3:00 p.m. on January 27, 2025. Contact information including address and phone number is required. Residency is required. Inclusion of a resume is strongly encouraged. The Board of Education will conduct the search, screening, and selection for the replacement. You will be notified if you are selected for an interview.

NOTICE

A Special Monroe Township Board of Education meeting will be held on February 12, 2025 at the Monroe Township Board of Education Office Building, located at 128 Saybrook Avenue, Williamstown, NJ. The sole purpose of this meeting is to conduct candidate interviews for a vacant school board seat. Formal action may be taken after the Executive Session. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with an approximate 90-minute Executive Session. The public portion of the meeting will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Please note that the board agenda is posted to our webpage no later than the Friday before the board meeting
The Board of Ed will retire into Executive Session and return to the public portion at approximately 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted by public notice. (See above notice)
