Monroe Township Public Schools uses The Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum, which features exploration and discovery as a way of learning helping children develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills. We’ve chosen this curriculum because it focuses on the skills and knowledge that are most important for helping your child to be successful in school. Throughout the year, we will foster learning experiences for your child so that they can make progress at their own pace.
In The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, learning happens through studies. The studies span over several weeks and provide in-depth, project-based investigations. These studies include topics like exercise, tubes and tunnels, clothes, and balls. Throughout each study, your child will learn math, literacy, science, and other skills.
